Can I ask a possibly stupid question? Is this software locked like the VAG-COM? For instance, if I connect to the internet while using it, is it gonna brick and give me the whole "Unregistered" BS?

Was thinking about buying a cable for logging and messing around with (Scott coded my car), but if I gotta deal with that BS again, its not even worth it.

FWIW I purchased from enetcables.com.

No issues, fast delivery. I probably paid more than if I searched on ebay but it was convenient, quick, and relatively risk free.

It actually appears to be around the same price, I think the enetcables is Shawn's recommendation which I wholeheartedly agree with, I just happened to find this guy on eBay who boasts about quality and the kind of resistors he uses and blah blah blah. My old cable was waaaay to long.
