Hi,

I have to replace my Left wing mirror as it's completely stuck and when I looked inside (under the covers) I found it was completely corroded.
So I'm looking for a replacement on eBay and I found a few option, however some are coming from RHD vehicles.
Do you think I can use a RHD left ( passenger) mirror to install it on a LHD car ?

No. Angle is slightly different from drivers seat.

That's why BMW has different part number for left mirror and LHD/RHD Vehicles.

also be warned, that once you disconnect that wire, it will throw a code, or check light.
You will need to re-calibrate the new Mirror using BMW Software and erase the code.

My right had was just replaced as a J-Biker ran into my car and broke my right mirror.
Body shop said this to me.

Cost wise, My Mirror, is folding, and with Camera.
so it was costing $1980 CAD NEW, ebay was 999.00 USD.

Have you tried penetrating oil and or/ Fluid Film rust and corrosion protection.

I changed mirrors, did not unplug battery and simply switched.

No error code or update needed 🤷🏼

Thanks for the info ! I guess I will stick to the US versions.
I removed and tried to clean the mirror but it is beyond rescue ! Pieces were falling while removing it. However no code of reset needed, maybe because it was the same unit reinstalled.
