Charge Pipe vacuum line removal N55 ... suggestions
I've been trying to remove the vacuum line from the stock charge pipe and cannot get it to budge. There also is a silver cylinder in the way making it very difficult to get my hands on the fitting. It's been kicking my ass.
Here is a picture ... the auto transmission vacuum line connects to the charge pipe behind and below the silver canister. Difficult to get a picture of the bung connection due to the canister. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this thing?

It's supposed to be a pinch release, but I never got it working. I carefully used pliers and a screwdriver to coax it off, but I don't recommend repeating my method as my vacuum line now barely hangs onto the CP.

Mine came off very easily with minimal force when the engine was warm
