No, you still will need to remove the strut bar. There are several other components along that side of the engine that preclude you having straight access to the rear plug (6). I was able to get 5 out without going down to the 1/4" drive and using a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter that I needed on 6. If using a 3/8" drive, using a 3/8" Universal adapter between the extension and the spark-plug socket makes it easier all around

I see, so is the f32 435i engine bay significantly different than the f30 335i? Because the guy in the f32 435i video didn't seem to have any issues without removing the strut bar

It must be because I can't see how you would do it on a 335 without removing the brace

Don't know. Haven't looked at or worked on a F32 435'. The strut bar may be configured and/or shaped differently on the F32

I was able to do this today on '13 335i without removing strut brace. Just fandangle the plastic underneath it until it comes out...
