N47 Struggling to Start

Hi all,

My f32 has an intermittent starting issue. Sometimes when I go to start it struggles before firing up. It happens when the car is cold and also when it is fully warmed up. I've noticed some slight hesitation in low gears now too.

Any ideas? Before I go and get fleeced at the dealer.

When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced and how much mileage on your ride?

It hasn't been replaced yet. Its just creeping past 30k miles. I figured it was a fuel issue but was hoping it wasn't the high-pressure pump as I've heard these are problematic. I'll start with the filter though. Thanks

Any codes?

If it were low fuel pressure, you will have codes immediately.
What year is your F32?

Agreed there should be codes.

Also, what exact month and year was it built?
Timing issues?

Regardless, you should really replace your fuel filter.

Replaced the fuel filter and symptoms are still persisting. Car isn't throwing any codes, it's had diagnostics ran twice and nothing showing up. Left it with my indie now so we'll see.

Check EGR Actuations. It could be stuck from deposit built ups and its letting the air escape.
