% of 3ers Registered in UK
Chaps,
A little curious if anyone knows what percentage of 3ers (by model) are sold in the UK? I'm assuming 320d must be very high and I see a fair few 320i's and 335d as well but not so many 330d's or 330i's. Does anyone know? A thousand thanks in advance |

Mind you, they sell WAY more in Belgium - walking round the city between meetings last week and nearly every BMW was a 4GC - they were everywhere... |

Wow, 4's a great car but I'm surprised that it outsold the 3 series after its been the staple for BMW for many years...every days a school day.

I had to delete one or two where it wasn't clear what the model is but these are the UK numbers for the year to September 2017.

When I read it I was surprised, obviously goes to show you can't trust everything you read in Auto Express! |

Meant to say that I was surprised how many 330e registrations there were - I've very rarely seen one.

Bizarrely just seen a 330e in Leyland, don’t like the look of the access panel to the charger at all. And, talking to a friend earlier who’s company runs one, the mpg is not very good, only manages a couple of miles on electric power.

There is a 330E at my work most days and yesterday whilst waiting in the parking area for filming of the new Top Gear series there was 2 330E's (in white) parked nose to bumper Private cars as they was with the rest of us waiting to go in.
Saying that, the 330E at my work is white and a friend who has one also has one in white. |

330E is the go to company car option due to the BIK. Performance wise its slower and less economical than the diesel alternatives. Plug in hybrid tech is still really poor imo, feels like a marketing exercise to me atm.

The spreadsheet nerd in me has expanded the analysis.
There are quite a few registrations described as AC Auto which I think are police cars.
