JB4 +MHD Backend Not Making Enough Boost

Hey guys, so I have a 2016 BMW 435xi with full bolt on. I was running Eurocharged tune and was getting around 17psi of boost. I just switched to JB4 and MHD backend (installed while following a thread that Terry posted) mainly for the flexibility and now I'm only making max 11psi. Am I running an old firmware that I'm supposed to update? Am I supposed to adjust something on MHD that's not on the JB4 mobile app? I'm a little new to this whole DIY tuning thing so if anyone has advice for me please let me know.

Make sure you've got the latest firmware from N54tech.com. If not, grab your phone and update the JB4 with the FW. Then follow his default settings for your car. Then make sure you have the FUD bit enabled that allows the car to "see" the BEF. once you do that you can flash the MHD map. Again go to n54tech and look for the appropriate map for your set up it should just say "EWG". Have you done these steps?

Also, 11PSI sounds about right for map 1. I'm not sure if he adjusted the boost levels from the original JB4 but map 1 is 4 PSI over stock (7-8) so it makes sense to me, but I am not that familiar with EWG. What map did you log 11PSI? I'd also grab a few logs too....

I have it on map 2 so I should be making just a little more.

I'll try to follow those steps but How do I know if I'm on the latest firmware already?

Yea the 10//8/5 I have no idea to how that translates to Terry's link in his posts on N54tech.com If I were you , you could email BMS or just upload the FW again which also can't hurt and would be faster!
