Got bored and ordered a new tune for my N47 (Kerma Stage 2) which is good for ~235whp/370wtq (270/430 at the engine), an increase of 80whp and 140wtq!

Feels amazing even though the transmission still needs time to adapt. Love the new gear display in the "non-sport" shift position, the new S8 gear, and the updated power display

Installed some door pull covers to freshen up the interior. For $50 (all 4 doors) I'm not mad at all.

Loving the thread. Excellent work. When you installed the new instrument cluster, how did you adjust the odometer (if at all) to match the old cluster reading?

Thanks! The cluster was brand new so no adjusting was needed, it automatically adapted once everything was plugged in and coded.

So the new odometer updated to the old number automatically?

Installed a 1-CH Blackvue DR970X and a BlendMount. Super happy with both! The BlendMount keeps my tinted windshield adhesive free and still lets me use my sunshade. Everything is invisible from the driver's seat which is what I wanted. Camera quality is pretty good. The Blackvues don't use the fancy new Sony Starvis 2 chip, but the sleek install and overall clean look was more important to me than the slightly superior license plate imaging from a larger/more unsightly unit like Viofo or Thinkware. I drew power from the mirror which made install and wiring a 5 min job.

Euro G11 Start button came in. Definitely an upgrade over my previous aftermarket button. Unfortunately, the auto start/stop button couldn't be carried over too.

Any plans on lowering the car?

Thanks! No plans to lower it, don’t want to scrape on everything. Also not interested in making the ride stiff. I must be getting old because I’m a huge fan of comfort these days.

Galvanic Window Switches

Here's a quick DIY for those of you who are interested:

Tools needed:

Best place to pry:

Use a pin tool or small screwdriver to push the connectors out:

For drivers side (only) it unhooks like so:

When putting the switches back, make sure to back them in:

One last important thing to note!

The passenger side (only) had these two pins for some reason that the original part did not have:

They will either break or you will damage your door if you try to force them in. I clipped them off with my pliers and then filed them down as much as I could and that's what I would recommend:

Before pics:

After:

This is very tastefully done. I appreciate someone who puts on the wheel center caps in line with the ///M badge.

At this point all you really need for the exterior are the LED headlights imo.
