Passenger seat broken?

Hi all,

I found this motor broken on front passenget seat when cleaning the car. Nor sure how it happened. The seat seems to keep all it's functions still working.
It's the motor is located on the front right part of the seat.

Should I replace the part, if so can I do without removing the seat from the car?

Thanks!

Hi guys,

I managed to remove the lower screw but the upper one has a bar in the way that doesn't allow me to remove it

Is there anything can be done to gain acces? Maybe I can tilt the seat manually to have access to it? Can not see how the mechanism works now.

Thanks!
