Has anyone done a muffler delete on a N47? How's the sound? Also are there any downsides like droning? (just removing the muffler)

I removed mine when I wanted to swap to dual tips. Really no reason or purpose for doing so, the sound is marginally different but almost not noticeable.

Did you notice any droning at low RPMs? Is there any difference when inside the car?

Done with 4 inch twin exhaust. slight low pitch noise at low RPM. considerable noise at high rpm [IMG]undefined[/IMG]

Is there a huge difference in noise levels

I installed a exhaust cutout like 4 years ago. I Thought it would open up some noise when I bypassed the exhaust. It was a complete waste of time and money.

I removed mine few days ago, The back box does nothing.
If you remove it, you won't notice any difference.
In mine, I also decatted it, It smels bad, but pulls better. There is also a noticeable sound difference, without cat you can clearly hear the turbo whistle and the motor itself, but as I mentioned before, it smels bad.
