The only summer tire from Michelin you should look at is the Pilot Sport 4S.

The PS4S is a 300TW tire and the PS3 is 320. That's close enough I wonder why they even bother with both tires.
I noticed on Tire Rack it's not rated all that well. I think the PS4S are a great tire, but if you don't want to spend that kind of money the Continentals or the Yokohama V601's would be a good choice as well. I'm running the Yoko's and are quite happy with them.

Pilot Sport 3 is quite old now.
Pilot Sport 4 is available as well as the 4S. The 4 is very slightly more comfortable than the 4S, but doesn't lose out majorly elsewhere to the 4S. https://www.tyrereviews.com/Article/...S-vs-Cup-2.htm |

If it's an old stock, pass it by ang go for fresher options like the other guys suggested. You may also consider Pilot Super Sports depending on price. |

You would need to be careful with production dates on the PSS' too wouldn't you? I thought their production ended with the start of the PS4 a couple years ago.

I thought the same but PSS is still in production. I put them last year, because there was lack of availability in the PS4S dimensions due to CoVID. They were just a few weeks old.

Most of you were right, the reason I asked was bc of some deals on new but older production date. I have never had bad experience with running older tires from well known brand, 7 years or less would be the limit here. Since I don’t plan on keeping the car for too long after cpo warranty expired, I went with Firestone FH indy500 since it was on sale and rebate.

I ran the Firestone indy500 in the wet on my last track event... The Michelin Pilot 4S on my student's corvette had way more grip than my Firestone, at least on the wet.
I was truly impressed. The Michelins 4S are really incredible tires, and I will get a set once my Firestone are done.
