Comfort seats in a 4 series?
Were comfort seats an option on the 4 series? The sports seats kill my ass and back after a couple hours. The X5 comfort seats are so much more comfortable.

If I'm thinking of the same seats I've seen in both an X5 or a 5 series, I think they are bigger and might not fit.
Seats are very personal in the way they fit. I love the sport seats and they fit me nearly perfect. I've also sat in seats in other vehicles which I found painful, yet many people love them, so I understand the frustration.

The comfort seats have more adjustments then the sport seats and have a more cushioned bottom. Our X5 even has ventilation in the seat which is amazing in the summer. I'll have to measure them to see if they will fit. If it was never option in the 4, maybe I can find a set to install.
Definitely don't want standard seats. Those are a move in the wrong direction. |

An Altima got comfortable seat.... Design by NASA
BMW, Mercedes and Audi are luxury car...no mistake there but never in one that is comfortable... The longer you sit the more uncomfortable there are |

I don't really love the way the standard/comfort seats look in my F30, but they're so much more comfortable in comparison to the sport seats that were in my OG M2. I'll definitely be keeping them since it's a daily driver. IMO they're much nicer to live with day to day, even if they look lame.

Looks like that seat is supposed to have the integrated seatbelt. If a 6 seat fits, good chance a 5 seat will. Wonder if they mount the same. I'll compare the X5 seat this weekend.

Had a Mercedes CLS550 and that had super comfortable seats like the X5 with the addition of a few extra features. Could sit in those all day. Just didn't care for the way it handled compared to the 4. |

In an F32 you need seats that will fold forward.

I find the sport seats amazing, even after long durations. The key is getting them positioned right. Set in a way that you still are upright, the base is tilted back slightly so they "cup" you.
Before I tilted them correctly. had the same issue. Thighs start going numb, arse loses feeling.... Only catch22 is if you are a large person, you might have pressure issues on the sides. |

I hope it's possible to fit them in a 4. That's what I'm trying to find out. There are pictures of 6 series seats in a 4 in this thread. If I ever get a day off, I'll measure my X5 seats and compare to the 4 series seats.
