Nice video. Thanks for sharing.

The F30 interior has been designed with enough play between plastic components that rattles, creaks, resonating sounds (when driving over rough pavement) become the norm after about 20K miles.

I personally do not think it's an accident, but rather an inadvertent result of cost cutting measures.

Being in the U.S. with a LHD car, my left knee hits the door handle and is much more annoying on long trips.

Mine has a few rattles and squeaks too, using a sunshade helps prevent some of these. I'm in Louisiana and see 55 to 60 degrees (c) inside the car while it's sitting in a parking lot during the summer months. Ambient outside is 35-40. It gets warm here.

My only real issue is that i wish the cupholders had a bit more clearance. I had to downsize my insulated cup when I went from my E82.

While I love the car, it's full of stupid things and my list would be long; some examples:
- no sync for air condition zones
- seats memory function doesn't include lumbar and side support
- lack of USB ports and their placement
- no user adjustment of ACC default distance
- awful sound quality of HK speakers
- lane departure warning not working below 70 kmh
- no daytime backlight of instrument cluster
- not damped door lock pins
- manual trunk cover
- very limited use of touch writing input from idrive controller
- not enough sensitivity settings of auto wipers
- high beam assistant cannot be turned on permanently
- no settings for heated seats (at least the memory of last setting)
- outdated and useless phone cradle
- limited adjustability of sport mode/no custom memories
- turn signal lever without position lock
- ACC without possibility to switch to non-adaptive

I thought HK sound system was crap until I messed around with the equalizer settings and also coded in B&O now it sounds pretty nice and bumpy

Yes, this certainly helps. Happy you, for me it was still far below acceptable and had to do the full speaker upgrade...

Thanks for sharing the video.

I agree about the sounds. Overall, I like my F31 and take very good care of the vehicle. However, these creaks and sounds are beyond annoying. I apologize to my passengers about the noise.

HK speakers are underwhelming at best. Still - much better than speakers which come standard.

I don't like the way the iDrive screen looks like somebody jammed an iPad into the dash. The E9x series was much better, embedded in the dash.

The G2x is an improvement over the F3x, but I still think the E series looked better.

You can turn on heated seat memory.... have it on my car.
