no zgw available

I haven't coded in about 8 months but I tried to pull up esys but I could not get the vin number to pull up. I got no zgw available. Is that an Ethernet issue or obdii connection issue?

Check your network connection with the car. If it shows it disconnected, something is likely wrong with the physical connection.

But, if it shows it IS connected:
Leave the car, lock it, and leave it alone for like 30 minutes. Then try again. (Or disconnect the car battery and reconnect.)

It happens sometimes. Kind of annoying but usually 1 in 20 cars that I have coded usually does this. Some kind of timeout or whatever.

Make sure you set your computer's ethernet connection to automatic. Fixing it to a set speed may not work
