Are you a chef?

I could come by and join the party...just for the hell of it. Schedules are probably pretty hard to work out, but you never know. I coded my car with esys.

I’m down to meet for coding also. I’m in SF. I’m willing to throw in beer pizza or whatever is good for everyone. I work weekends so weekdays work better for me

No but I know chef.

I will code your car but I am expensive. I can send a link to the software and if you have the cable… You should be good to go

Hmm, "expensive"? I get the feeling that those willing to help code locally aren't looking to make money. More of a community/camaraderie/excuse for a meet and shoot the s#!t about our cars kinda thing.

Alright, so tentatively: Sunday around 6 or 7pm? Sounds like we've got a couple in the City, a couple down the Peninsula, and one in the East Bay. So where's a good venue for us all? Serramonte is good for us on this side of the Bay, but a bit of a drive (plus bridge toll) for TinkyWinks. That said, if we agree to meet somewhere on the Peninsula side, I'll chip in for your toll, Tink.

We can definitely make this a bit more of a normal occurrence. Not too many Bay Area BMW meets. Would love to meet ya'll and put some names to faces and faces to exhaust tones and bodies (car bodies.. )

Sunday doesn't work for me, but then again, we don't want to plan around my schedule which probably conflicts with just about everybody. Probably doesn't help I have an 8-year old son I'm with on the afternoons I'm off (Mon and Tues.) Sometimes, I have a "quick meet" window...but at least were all talking about it.

I'm actually more available on Mondays as well, but can swing an occasional Sunday evening if I trust my sous chef not to burn the place down.

Gets hard to trust anyone to do things the way they need to be done...babysitting is part of the everyday job.

We can try Monday as well. As long as it is after work.

I can do Monday as well. Does that work better for most? Around the same timeframe? 6-7ish?

I'd love to get a chance to see these functions in person - you guys should go to CCSF on April 7th, it's rare seeing other F30's there.

I would be able to meet at Serramonte around 5-6 on Sunday. Weekdays are pretty hectic for me. Let me know what everyone decides.

Here is what I have coded:
Fold mirrors with fob/CA
Close windows and sunroof with fob/CA
Open windows and sunroof with fob
DL lights 100% with headlights on
Remove disclaimer
No seatbelt chime both seats
M- logo in dash
DVD on when in motion (barely use this)
Side cameras on when driving (never use this, just makes you dizzy--but I wanted to see what it was like)

I think there was something else but can't remember. My start/stop is always off so didn't need that and my welcome lights go on in reverse already.

Once again, I have such limited time frames--Mondays and Tuesdays I have my son after 2pm and then it's Homework, Taekwondo, making dinner etc...shoot most of my car mod stuff happens on those days between 10 am-1pm. And then going anywhere at 6pm is just lots of time sitting in traffic.
