Radiator fan removal help!!

Hello kind bimmer fellas

I have 435 Xdrive automatic

I am trying to remove radiator fan and I am having quite a bit of difficulties removing it.

Basically I am following this service manual

https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...ement/IJDZ6vvr

The transmission cooler is attached to the fan cowl and it is blocking the way of the radiator fan.

The manual says to remove it in upward direction and I tried but the radiator hose is blocking the way. Any other direction it won't move.

I even tried to disconnect the radiator hose, but it won't budge (I unclipped, wiggled it, pried but none worked)

Does anyone know how to successfully remove this radiator fan???

Any advice would be appreciated

For the hose, unclip it and gently use a screwdriver to lever the plastic connector off the rad as you wiggle it with your hand. Be patient and it'll come off.
For the cooler, I had this same experience with an X3 recently. First push down in the cooler to release it then pull up.

Did you get this figured out? Also trying to remove the radiator fan in order to crank the motor by hand. I also tried to follow the newtis guide, but it's far from accurate. Do I need to unscrew or unclip something from the underneath the car?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I had to disconnect #2 in order to get the clearance to move the transmission cooler out of the way.

You do not have to disconnect hoses, I was able to do it by pulling the cooling fan sideways. It bearly fits through cooling hoses but you have to be gentle.
The procedure is described quite well in these two videos:
