Found bubbles on the paint coat
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com Two things I've noticed while washing the car was that there's a small bubble on the clear coat of my car most likely caused by a dust particle while they were spraying the car. On the rear of my car, right by the edge of the right tail light, there's some bubbles on the paint. I would think that BMW would have better QA than this but is there a small acceptable margin of imperfections when it comes to painting? It's hardly noticable but still. |

Normal for BMW. My past 3 I have had to wet sand shit out of the clear in various spots.

Yeah you really need to find these things before taking delivery as you are in a world of hurt now unless its a lease. The best you can get now is a sand and respray, which will then lower the resale value.
Next time you buy, plan on spending an hour looking over the car, interior and exterior. Then take a test drive and see if you can find any issues. If there is a problem simply walk away from the deal. EVERY deposit is 100% refundable by law if there is a problem with the car, even if its an ordered car. |
