What should be included with car?
Hi everyone,
I'm picking up a CPO 435I Gran Coupe today. I was hoping someone could chime in on what items I should check for. I know some cars may include accessories that are missing, like cargo net or such. Anything I should have in mind when inspecting the car? I already stressed that the car should be free of swirl marks. Thanks in advance |

My car was missing the cup holder cover but they gave me a "free" Backpack, coffee tumblr, charger, umbrella, and sunshade so I was alright with that. All weather mats too but I think they always include those.
Make sure that the emergency road kit is in there (i feel like 100% of the time it is) but just to be safe. Along with the jack. |

Make sure it's insured before you drive it off the lot.

I asked about a cargo mat and they said they couldn't throw it in. Kind of cheap of them.
Good advice on insurance. My insurance covers anything I buy for the first 30 days, but better not to delay adding it to the policy. So cup holder covers, what tools are in the kit? |

Any decent insurance company will give you a comfortable grace period after buying a new car to include on your policy. It will have the same coverage the old car has.
I've never called my insurance company before I've brought my new car home. Of course, you'll want to check your personal policy and state laws. Sometimes this only works if you are replacing a car so check that as well. |

Check to make sure you get two keys, all manuals, the manual cover, cargo net, the tool kit (screwdriver, tow hook, wheel lock keys if equipped), cup holder lid, trunk tonneau cover, and all four floor mats. |

Even when they fix their own mistake and do a touch up, it looks amateur. I would have no hopes on not having swirl marks. Make sure to check if wiper blades are in good condition. |

There is no benefit to dragging your feet adding your car to the policy. Even when you add it they are likely to say that coverage will begin the following day. |

When I bought my CPO, before I said "Deal", I told them the accessories I needed to "make" the deal. |

You’re going to buy weathertech mats anyway. Just make sure to get two keys.

Your agent will just add your new car then you file a claim on that car. It's not like trying to get something warranty repaired on your car. The law is pretty cut and dry and there's really nothing to "negotiate" or argue about. You just show you purchased the car within the past 10 days (or whatever it is in your state) and you file a claim. I'm not saying you should wait the full 10 days or anything. I always call the same day I get home. |

Two keys included, the net is included because of the storage package option. Thanks everyone for the great advice. Still here filling paperwork.
One annoyance is a small fender ding. They said I can bring it back, but its 2.5 hour drive. |
