Turn everything off except engine rpm and vehicle speed and you will see. It suggests either clutch slip or you were spinning.

your RPM did spike at 3400, see photo. to test it, go into 5th gear, and floor at 3000 rpm through 4000 rpm.

I do see that now. Thanks to both for the graphics. I'll keep an eye on it. Car has a 87K now and it's the original clutch to my knowledge. Soon I'll have to upgrade to the 550i clutch

I also had clutch slippage running the stage 2 E30 bm3 map when I went to v7.1. Just turned over 80k miles. I upgraded to the 550i clutch and CDV delete. It's a solid upgrade.

I bought my F32 with Bootmod3 already installed by the previous owner, how would I be able to use it?

Contact pro tuning freaks with your VIN, they will get you the corresponding authorization code to login.

I bought all of my parts from FCP Euro as their price was competitive and I plan to keep this car for a long time so I might end up replacing the clutch one more time in its life.

Pressure Plate Screw (you'll need 6) - $1.52/pc

I was charged $514 for labor

Yes I did. The DMFW was in good condition and within spec. BMW recommends changing the DMFW every two clutch changes. This was my first. 80k miles on the stock clutch and DMFW. Even the stock clutch looked good. Plenty of friction material still on it. It just couldn't handle the power at WOT on the latest tune.

I took a quick look at this one: https://www.bootmod3.net/log?id=5e8e...0b432fcc88de14

Timing looks pretty good. Do you have any E85 in the tank? STFT are fairly positive, more so than i see in my logs.

Boost starts to deviate from target after 5500 rpm. Its not horrible, since its only a little more than 1 psi, but nearing what I would think is "too far" below target (for an EWG on stage 1 at least).

I dont. It's just shell 93 pump gas in it. I get around 1 more psi of boost after 5500? No complaints there.
What about AFR's? I don't know what the car is supposed to target for AFR at WOT.

no, he's saying that you are UNDER target by 1 psi. i looked at one of my stage 1 logs from version 7.0 and it was same behavior. in my experience with bm3 ots tunes.. the boost deviation at the top end is typically 1 psi under, regardless of which map. if you want to verify, check a few other people's logs of stage 1 to verify the boost deviation.

As mentioned above i was saying you are UNDER target by 1psi. Again, not alarming, and as suggested check other peoples logs to confirm this is normal behavior.

The target AFR is in the log. You can check actual vs. target directly.

I spoke with Halim and it's how they tune it, normally they turn down boost up top for more timing, it's more consistent and IAT will rise much more slowly, in comparison of just turning the boost up where timing will be low or pulled, and IAT will shoot up. On EWG, normally the taper isn't bad, but on PWG, it's tapered alot more (On 2H maps)

Makes sense as a tuning strategy since stage 1 is designed to be applied to a stock car (stock IC).

Ohhhhh LOL. Im going to assume Lambda [AFR] is the target and Lambda Act Bank 1 [AFR] is what the actual sensor is reading. Well that's good to know the logs look good. Crazy how high the AFR target is on these cars.

Was driving around today, casual driving nothing intense, was going up a hill in 3rd going about 30 mph and received a drivetrain malfunction codes I got

123601 Electronic wastegate control:Short
120408 Charge pressure control shutdown: pressure build-locked

I am running bootmod3 stage 2 93 oct, I upgraded to version 7.1 about 2 weeks ago, I've put several hundred miles on it since the upgrade, I have an upgraded charge pipe, intercooler and fabspeed catted downpipe. Should I clear codes and do a log?
