Site is down right now? You saw it in stock? I'm gonna wait until Frankenturbo releases their n55 turbo. It's gonna be a nice unit with good customer service.

I've heard great things about frankenturbo when I had my GTI. Wasn't aware they were working on a kit for the N55, should be good!

Yes Frankenturbo engineer and design very nice units their n55 unit will be ready later this year!

Their casting their own turbofold and compressor cover and it will fit in factory location and come with turbo inlet. 😎

Google Frankenturbo they are almost done making their cast manifold hybrid n55 turbo. It will be super sweet once done and will include their custom inlet also. They have a group on Facebook as well. They have great customer service and respond to emails in a timely manner.

Familiar with Frankenturbo coming from the audi world. Nice to hear they are showing us some love here. Will their unit just be a cold side upgrade like PS1, or like PS2 with an upgrade in turbine and manifold as well?

Custom cast cold and hot sides. Should give the ps2 a run for its money.

Yeah but Would still have liked the hyped up long promised update on this Vargas gc turbo for ewg which is what this thread is about. Maybe you can start a thread on this Frankenstein turbo but this is about the Vargas.

I believe the vargas turbo is finally available, but I’ve heard many bad experiences dealing with vargas. I would still like to see the results from their unit.
