I like it. Not too loud and it burbles here and there. I run it mostly in comfort and it sounds great. Sport of course turns it up a notch. I’m debating on resonator removal but the reported drone has me hesitating. Im wondering if I might be able to adapt the AWE mud pipe to the Remus. That might make it scream
Awe midpipe would be no different than a resonator delete. A straight pipe section is just straight pipe. Don't do it.

I thought the sizing of the pipe was different. Though can’t be too much different as the AWE rear section installs the same as other manufacturers if I remember correctly

Aren't high flow catted DPs only about $500 more and pretty much the same performance?

Passed emissions earlier this month on my F48. I have a ER high flow catted DP along with a mini cat from big daddies garage. 4K miles with the DP. Tune was removed for inspection just to be safe (run Evolve stage 2).

Bump. Any anecdotes from this year or last? Catted and tuned? Fabspeed still passing? It's now $1900 new 🥲.

Two buddies running FBO (catless) N54s passed without issues.

I had some issues with my F80 and E70 due to my own impatience.

You just need to check readiness before going to the station and make sure you have NOT READY on 2 monitors minimum vs. UNSUPPORTED on any monitors.

Those N54s must be older than 13yo at this point? That's the prob my cat monitor shows UNSUPPORTED which I think is automatic fail. Can't get it Not Ready without a CEL either. And I think you mean "2 monitors maximum"

Yeah, good point. 07/09 335s. 06/08 build dates.

Right, two maximum.

I see you're using MHD, have you tried checking the CATTED option when tuning? I imagine that could trick the system regardless of the cats installed. You could also just run defoulers. Easier to install than swapping DPS.

Yes UNSUPPORTED status shows up for the cat monitor when "aftermarket DP" is checked on. If off (still on stg0) it eventually fails and throws the CEL. NOT READY is not the same as UNSUPPORTED/UNAVAILABLE. The latter seems to be the value when there is no test for said monitor.

Judging by the behavior of the monitor with the dp flag on/off, MHD forces the DME to never run the test , and so OBD tests show (UNSUPPORTED/UNAVAILABLE), and as a result the CEL never comes on. Cars dont always have all the necessary monitors that can be tested. For eg. our cars do not have a "heated catalyst" test, and so that monitor shows UNSUPPORTED/UNAVAILABLE.

Every car in the US is supposed to have a cat and o2 test to be sold here, so they should NEVER be anything but READY/NOT READY when going for inspection. In MA it seems that specific monitors cannot be unavailable anymore (catalyst and o2) and will auto fail inspection, and likely get you flagged and referred. Too many failures after a referral and they will no longer register the car.

And on the note of defoulers, the o2 montiors all pass with DP flag on

Just wanted to chime in as I just went through mass state inspection
I originally had my tune with cold start off and cat monitor off,
However this wouldn’t allow my fuel, cat or heated 02 monitors to run and become ready. The state of mass only allows one monitor to not be ready
After driving around fiddling around and wasting fuel to try and make the cycles complete
I reflashed the car BM3 Stg2 +
With all the OEM emission controls turned on including cold start
All the monitors were completed and ready for inspection in 20 miles
The car is running Dorman help part number 42009 as a rear o2 spacer on the VRSF 🐈 less DP
2018 340 xdrive is the car fyi
