I got this email and I'm messaging viktor at protuning freaks and he's telling me that's not an email they send out when you transfer licenses. He also said that's not one of their emails.. anyone see this before?

I definitely don't know much about the tune.

However the email address you have looks like it's from their technical department according to the website.

jira@bootmod3 is definitely their email ID. I have emails from them from that address in my inbox

it’s their customer support ticket thingy.

Yeah that's what I thought. I've been emailing them and they're telling me that they didn't send it

They probably use some sort of software where they see our tickets and when they reply, it gets sent from that address. They probably don’t see it as an email or something? It’s definitely them though.

There have been a lot of unscrupulous people selling fake licenses and sending fake/spoofed emails.

Do you have the link to the thread from santashelper?
was it on this forum?
did he contact you direct if you posted a wtb?
i know there have been scams on facebook with used licenses.

You can’t go just off of the email address. You should check directly with BM3 support before transferring so you don’t get scammed.

I might have misunderstood what OP is saying but from what I got, he already reached out to PTF and they told him the license is invalid

Never use Venmo or zelle or PayPal friends and family! In my for sale posts, I always say either PayPal invoice or person to person meets.

Jeez man. I’m sorry. I didn’t know they could fake emails like that! What is that Dbag’s ID? I was also almost scammed when someone asked me to Venmo or zelle him money. I said no thank you and it turned out he was a scammer. He managed to scam someone else though.

It looks like he edited the part about the items he purchased.
I do have an order number 17632 from 2018, under the name of Joseph but it was for an Evolution Raceweks intercooler not Bootmod3
