I'm planning to buying M sport bumper for my Mineral Grey F30. Does anyone here have any shop recommendations preferably in the south bay?


Or if anyone is selling one?

I have been to The Works Auto Body (Grant St, Santa Clara) at the recommendation of Carbahn Autoworks. I wasn't shopping around for prices so can't comment on that, but I was quite happy with all of the work, communication, etc.

Funny enough, I damaged my MG F30 M-Sport front bumper on one of those damn cement parking blocks with rebar popping out. So I’m in the same boat looking for a new bumper - curious to hear your experience here. Thanks!

I would recommend GMP Novato, I know its north bay but they do incredible work. They painted my side skirt for my 228i when I needed a replacement. They were able to color match sparkling metallic brown perfectly which is a PITA to do. Highly recommend them. 74 & 86 Hamilton Dr,Novato, CA 94949

Just a little update, reached out to multiple body shops in the bay area. Got quoted $475-600 just for paint. I did find a local guy that does specialized in BMW body work. I'm currently in the talks with him and his price is pretty reasonable to do whole conversion for me w/ paint warranty rather just the front bumper . If everything checks out & goes smoothly I'll give this post an update

Yeah I recently had the same. Even though it's not too bad, it's a reason to go MSport lmao. I'll update once things are done.

Just installed the bumper two days ago. Wish i took more photos of it before I did it, but paint turned out awesome. Super clean, and the paint match is spot on. Here's an image of how it turned out. Couldn't get this stupid diffuser to clip-in so had my nephs hold it up to see what it would look like. Recommend Apex. Pricey but they have 5 stars on yelp for a reason.

Ended up going to Dublin Collision in Dublin, reasonable pricing for the whole kit, paint & install. I would recommend!

How much did it end up costing you?

Yup! Kit included. Since I got the kit from him it included paint warranty. Overall it was a good deal
