Store had most items, pasta and rice are still gone, but there was plenty of Waitrose toilet paper, ready meals, pizzas, milk, cleaning products etc.
Might try the Stamford branch tomorrow then

Interesting to see which parts of supermarkets have bare shelves. It started with toilet paper and pasta, although pasta seems to be coming back into stock now that everyone has their 300 packets safely stored in the nuclear bunker.

Next was the fresh fruit and veg for no apparent reason...

Now it's the wine isle that has been decimated - just Mateus Rose and similar stuff left - I'll drink my own urine before I buy that!

So....what's the next thing to sell out?

So it started with bog roll and hand sanitiser. Moved quickly onto pasta, rice and other groceries incl. flour. Breadmakers, freezers have also flown off the shelf. Seeds for potatoes/veg are disappearing. What's next...? As soon as the sun gets going and we go beyond Easter, presume all BBQs and garden furniture will be gone. Hair scissors/clippers will presumably already be getting scarce as no one will be going to a hairdresser. In the summer all the fan's will be gone (more so than ever with people stuck in the house).

What should we be buying now before it's gone?

Can't tell you otherwise everyone else will start buying it, then I won't be able to go out and panic buy it

Prosecco apparently, there will be civil unrest if that happens judging by how much is consumed in the pubs and bars in our village.

I'd go with tents/shelters. Let's face it, who's going anywhere but their garden this summer...
