Very noticeable cold start, deeper exhaust note with a bit back pressure relief, and lots of burbles when you use your paddle shifters in S/S+ mode.

Make sure you have the latest MPE installed.

I just installed mine about 1500 miles ago and it is quieter than I expected but its slightly louder than stock and when in Sport+ the burbles and pops sound awesome!
I got the louder MPE installed and the cold start and sport + are really the only times you can hear the difference, I was told the MPPK only enhances all of the above sounds i mentioned. It sounds perfect for me but then again im not looking for that loud boy racer exhaust note.

Off Topic but I will always love that e92 v8 sound the best

VRSF catless DP and MPE in my opinion sound fantastic and not over the top. I love it.

Nice! how do you like it so far? my VRSF DP(Catted) ships tomorrow im only getting it because I want to go stage 2+ MHD, on youtube and other soundclips i've heard so far it sounds good not too loud (then again you can only tell so much from any decent audio recording device, in person is always the best way to listen). DP and MPE + MHD "Engine Roar" enabled on cold start will probably sound real nice! i know my neighbors wont be happy lol

When I went catless I completely disabled cold start and just use MHD's startup roar, and with a valved muffler it's still nice and quiet during startup, no angry neighbors!

Here's a clip of my car with the MPE (PN# 340) and resonator delete. MPE was 'broken in' already as I bought it used from a forum member. Car also had MPPK installed at the dealer a day before.

Warm start and some revs with both pipes open:

delete one of your two resonators - I would suggest you start with the one closest to the muffler. You will not have drone or tinny sound - probably be just about what you want. Cheap, easy, effective

If you still want more then delete the "other" resonator the one closest to the DP - at that point you'd have something similar to a Dinan (etc) mid pipe

Yes sir.

Only both resonators were deleted. Virtually no drone with those gone. However, when I kept the flap open at all times, there is some resonance right around 1800-2k RPM at higher gears. Also seems to be less 'cracks n pops' with both pipes open... which I actually prefer.

Can you clarify what you mean by both resonators? I havent been under the car in a while but isnt there only one resonator on the stock exhaust as shown in this picture?

I think B58 cars have 2 resonators... so did my 335i GT. Any non GT N55 cars most likely has a single resonator setup like the one pictured.

Absolutely love it paired with xHP. Quiet when you need it to be and sounds great in Sport and Sport+ with BM3's aggressive settings turned up slightly. Perfect combo IMO.
