Anyone Know The Actual Way To Reset The Radio???

OK, I posted a thread about this before, and I heard to hold down the on/off/volume button on the radio for 30 seconds and it resets the computer/radio. That doesn't work on my car. Sometimes my radio gets stuck in SIRIUS where it won't display the channel list, nor acquire satellites or play music. It is just blank with "category?" displayed. When the car is shut down for about 15 minutes or more, and the radio goes out of the active mode, it resets and works. How can I reset the radio manually?? I have a 2014 328i MSport with the SIRIUS done by bimmerretrofit.

It should work by holding down the volume knob for about 30 seconds or so. The car and radio should be on when you do this.

I am unable to reboot iDrive using the mute button hold down method. Reboot did work when car was new, but after 2.53.5 upgrade, the reboot seems to have been disabled.

Perhaps your problem is deeper than just a reset?

I have tried the hold down radio button for 30 seconds, and like I said, that doesn't do anything. Technic, I'm not sure, but it's like my radio gets stuck sometimes before loading the Sirius channels. And, I noticed it only has happened when I start my car in an area with no satellite coverage (inside garage, etc).
