Factory OEM BMW blue trim Key, used, from my car. Works 100%

I don't know what it takes to program them to a car, but most locksmiths probably can, and BMW. I wouldn't bother getting the metal piece recut, I never used it personally.

Like new condition

Once programmed, the F30 FOBs are locked to that car. They can’t be re-programmed to another car

I did not know that.

I'm sure someone could figure it out and reprogram them or swap their internals into my key if theirs was physically damaged/worn out, etc.. I just hate throwing such a sexy little key fob in the trash.

you could disassemble a busted key, and put your guts in my key. That wouldn't be hard.

Right now the key is just a toy for my daughter.

More info on this? From everything I've seen no one can program a key that has already been mated to another vehicle.

Or how about someone buys Mike1327s key fob. Mike sends it to you. And you send it to the buyer. That proves you can do it.

Will do. I found a DIY here and a YouTube video on it too so fingers crossed it's not too difficult.
