Not time for any detailing yet, still at the "wash the crud off" stage. Still plenty of time for snow up here. Was driving through slush, the middle of last week. Road filth is still salty.

Mine was clean as a whistle at the weekend but I’ve spend the last couple of days visiting family and friends so it’s rotten again, might wash it tomorrow.

Singapore Grey - so as noted above, black ish on a dull day, a bit grey on a nice day and some hints of other colours when the sun catches it right....

Would have preferred Donington Grey but chose spec I wanted rather than colour and just said not black or white or snapperrocks blue for colour.... (sorry to those with those colours but they arent for me....)

My brothers Carbon Black 7 series almost looks blue!

Nice colours anyway.

Sounds a lot more sensible to me.

To be fare I do take more care of the Lotus, when I picked it up new in 2014 it was full of swirls and I got that professionally sorted at their expense. I do give that a going over my self now and again.

Spending loads of time and money on cleaning more mainstream cars seems pointless as from my experience the dealer couldn't care less when you chop it in. If you enjoy it though, which I don't then all is good.

Sounds like Sophisto Grey - looks quite grey/blue in that pic, thought it might have been Bluestone but I guess the M cars get a different/better colour palette to choose from?

Fair shout. I think it's quite black/white (if you'll pardon the pun). Used to bloody hate washing the car until I got the F31 new and discovered Detailing World. I actually really like it now, very therapeutic and everyone knows to stay away from me when I'm detailing the car.

everything THEY deem non essential is taking up to a month to be delivered, even on Prime.

I still dont understand the lucky-ordered hand wash the other day had a 1 month delivery after the instock date.

Ended up cancelling.

I wish I did enjoy it BlackTemplar because I am getting more bored with each passing day now

My son likes cleaning his car, maybe it is an age thing but saying that it has never really floated my boat.

I like the satisfaction of looking at a really glossy car, and knowing I've put the effort in to make it look that way. I also enjoy the single-minded focus on something that isn't important, serious or troubling, even if it's only for a couple of hours - something of a treat these days.

Looks awesome but what's going on with the rear number plate or is it an illusion?

The whiskey I ordered my dad was 3 days, that's arriving tomorrow, mind you if you ask him it's 100% essential!

Different, yes. Better, debatable. I ordered from stock so colour was never primary issue, but you can get 2 greys, bluestone, black, white, Marina Bay Blue (which is lovely but a bit in your face for me), Snapper Rocks which you either love or dont, and I dont, and not much else.

I wanted under the radar so it was going to be one of the greys....

One day I will take one from the back just to be different.... but I would have to move it first!

7 months old now. If it was a JLR I would be in the second one by now....

An optical illusion fortunately. My OCD could stand for that otherwise.
