VIM and codecs

Hi looking to get video to play from my USB in my armrest

I've enabled API_USB_VIDEO using bimmercode as well as XVID, XVCD and OGG
Is there other coding thats required ?
I have ENAVEVO business ID6 on a LCI F34

Also other than the codecs mentioned what is the best codec to convert any movie to?
