I had bricked my tail lamps after extensive BimmerCode coding and just rolled back to my most recent backup and the taillight function returned to normal while having retained all my prior coding. So, no drastic measures needed and certainly no need to see the stealership. Just roll back one backup at a time until all base functions are normal along with coded functions.
