hi, did anyone figured out how to use ISTA through VPN network?
using esys without any problem, but can't get ISTA working remotely.

i use hamachi VPN and connect through IP. the pros are that remote pc does not have to have any files such as launchers, psdzdata files or even esys.. just Laptop with internet, Hamachi VPN and enet cable.

Hi, I tried but failed, any trick settings? after vpn connection, just input the enet IP found in Client PC to the Host ISTA, and ISTA can read the vehicle?

Easiest way it to use RemoteEnet by Esysx. Just activate it then start VPN ,I use team viewer

remote connect esys is very easy, but I can get ista remotely working.

I saw the IP direct connection method in the connection option, add the vpn assigned address for the client computer but connection failed.


maybe need to set some route or iptable?

btw, any one know ista working port?icom mode or enet mode.

1. in ista choose to connect by ediabas
2. change ediabas IP: VPN IP, Interface: ENET, and PORT: 6801 (i use EDIABAS KONFIGURATOR 2.0.0 for that)

ISTA set to EDIABAS Connection. EasyConnect is set to ENET/REMOTE with correct Remote IP. PORT: 6801
