Arrow Should I join the BMW Car Club of America?

....You may have asked yourself. The answer is yes, yes you should. By joining the national BMW CCA you’ll also become a member of a local/regional chapter. Many chapters are quite active and host a variety of driving events, from auto cross to back road tours, as well as other social events. You will also receive a high quality monthly BMW magazine, Roundel, and a semi-annual magazine, Bimmer Life, which is kind of a coffee table magazine that focuses on photography. And, of course, last, but certainly not least, you can qualify for a rebate of $500 - $1,500 for new cars and $250 for CPOs. I’m about to get $250 for the CPO F30 I just bought. My first F30.

In addition there is an annual four day BMW festival,
O’fest Forever, which is scheduled for this year November 3 - 6 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

So, this is a shameless plug for joining using my member number as your referral - 388003. When you join we both get a chance to win a one day ///M school.

Benefits summary - https://cdn.bmwcca.org/static/join/index.html

So, you know you’ve thought about it, now is the time to do it!! https://account.bmwcca.org/bmwssa/ce...context=&p_vc=

+1 Been a member since 2001 (sorry - no referral credit for you!) and have gotten great value out of it. Three rebates, club events, ombudsmen service, terrific technical advice, great magazines, etc. Def worth it.

Do it now for the next one. If you do annual membership you have to have been a member for one FULL year (that’s a year and a day) to get the rebate. Or if you do a three year membership you can cut the waiting period to six months.

Off topic, but I just noticed that you changed your profile pic and now have a 2018 340i. Is that a recent purchase? If I am not too late to the party, congrats! I remember your profile as being associated with a 2006 330i.

Thanks!! You’re not too late at all. In fact, I’m a little early. I don’t actually pick it up until Wednesday. Flying to Houston and driving back to Chicago.

Isn't there also a discount on parts from the parts department? Thought I remember reading about that somewhere.

I have been a member for more than 20 years, mainly for driving schools.
I am happy that BMW Trillium Toronto is now part of the BMW Club of America so we can now receive Roundel.

Generally, yes. It depends on the dealership. Some offer a discount, but a few don’t. It’s generally a 10% discount. And that reminded me there are also discounts for driving instruction at the Performance Centers in South Carolina and California.

Most dealers and many indys offer BMWCCA discounts if you ask. 10-15% is pretty standard.
