hey everyone. i have a 2015 bmw 428i xdrive, i’ve made countless posts on here talking about my steering rack and how i think i need a replacement. i have a lot of play and inconsistency with my steering. and i thought i just needed a complete replacement. so i went on ebay looking for replacement racks messaging sellers making sure my part numbers matched up and one seller gave me some new information. and told me my rack might not even be bad but the intermediate steering shaft leading up the the rack itself could be worn. i looked all over forums and can’t find anything on the matter at all. has anyone heard of this part causing play in the steering or any information at all would be helpful i’m really at a loss because i don’t know if i need a whole steering rack replacement anymore or if its just that intermediate shaft i’ll leave a screenshot of what the part looks like
