Looks like VPC to dealership is super quick. When did Toronto arrive at port?

Auriga Leader seems to be on schedule, I am guessing my car should be there Monday or Wednesday next week at the max. My dealership is one of the closest to Port

It was on October 4th at the Port of Hueneme. There is a chance that Auriga Leader shows up on 10th. I think, you're right on the money with your assessment

I just heard that my 535 is scheduled to be at the dealer on the 14th. I am pumped. BTW, I am posting in the 3 series forum since I have owned two of them 335x and a 335d.

The 5 series forum is pretty dead.

Would anyone be pissed if you ordered your car and when it finally arrived at the dealership that they allowed a few customers to test drive the "technically yours" car?

We'll let you post here my friend. I usually go to forums.5series.net to get info about my 550i. The E90/F30 forums are by far more active and informative. Are you getting any Port Installed Accessories on your 535? Grilles, exhaust? Not sure what's offered on the 5.

Mine's having some goodies installed at Port, so might be a few extra days. Glad to hear the 14th is your day! Maybe mine will be here by 15th or 16th..

Hi Barry,

I am not having anything installed by the dealer. I will swap out the run flats and get tints from Accutint Seattle, get painted reflectors. I am considering a JB chip from burger tuning for extra horse power but that is about it.

My CA will get me an update today, will post when I find out. I did have a very small scrape on the rear bumper when it was parked in Italy, hoping that's what's being taken care of at the vpc, I did mark it on the drop off form. Any news on your end?

Yeah I am taking mine to Accutint Seattle, I have heard from multiple sources they are the best. I might do a clear bra from them as well.

Swapping out the tires? Did yours come with all season or performance? What's your plans for the run flats?

I wanted to keep my warranty intact, so I opted for OEM engine/exhaust upgrades.

I haven't heard anything. From what I understand all body damage will be repaired at VPC. You won't be able to tell its been fixed. Post some Picts of your car when you get it.

Barry, I don't like run flats for a number of reasons. I immediately change them out for non run flat michelin tires.

IMHO runflats stink because they:

are heavy and pull on rutted roads, performance is awful
last only 20K miles
are expensive to replace

I keep a bmw mobility kit in my trunk.

When its time to turn in the lease, I put the RFT tires back on. My non run flats last about 45K miles which is perfect.

my 428xi was on board the toronto... just picked it up from seattle bmw tonite. was told mine was the first 4 series they delivered from this dealership
