I've been thirsting to get coloured stitching on my seats for a while. My interior is identical to yours except it's red accented instead of blue.

Sadly I don't have the skill or patience to do it myself. There are vendors here who will do it, but I suspect it isn't cheap.

Very tempted...

Paint these blue - or gloss black.

I sold my car about a month ago. I am BMWless for the first time in about 15 years. It's weird looking in the garage and no BMW in there.

Interesting...You have any picture examples?
Here's some examples of the T135 vs T210. The T210 stands out much better. Both of the threads are supposedly the same color (Royal Blue).

So the right side stitching is T210 and left side is T135 ... correct?

That is correct. I couldn't tell as much of a difference when I redid mine with 210 as the picture shows...they both looked great. If you are buying thread, I would get the 210...

I think the first one is a better color. I like the second color, but I think it is too bright...for me at least. I wanted it subtle not in my face, if that makes sense.

No problem...post pictures when you start working on it or if you have questions ask. It was much easier to take the headrests out of the car to do it...I also took the rear seat out to do it...I did the front with them in the car, but would been easier out...I was just lazy on the front!

First of all hats off to your patience

I have started weaving using headrest first. Wow it's a tedious process.

Need help or clue on how to avoid the fringe while weaving... see the pic below

I think the only way I avoided the dreaded curl of the thread was every so often I would hold the headrest up high in the air and let the needle hang and it would unravel...

Hang in there...the result is worth the headache!
