Changing JB4 maps as a backup tune to a flash

I am trying to change maps on my JB4 but i cant get it to display on my instrument panel. Is this because I am including a flash as well? Im holding the BC button down but I am still getting nothing. My car is a 2016 f32. Thank you much

The flash won't have any impact there, is the JB4 OBDII cable in? Didn't disable map switching in dash in the JB4 settings?

Is that part of the module in the trunk or does is that something separate the plugs directly to the obd underneath the steering wheel??

See the JB4 install guide, attaches to JB4 harness and OBDII port.
