My dealer said today there are definitely some delays on those ordered with the 19" wheels apparently, so we might just have that bit of rarity for a bit longer!
Btw RJ, is your leather a cost upgrade? It looks a bit softer and plusher than standard? |

Yes, the leather interior is the Individual Cashmere Beige which I think is Merino leather. It was a £1215 option. It is very soft though and feels great, very plush and very comfortable

Almost tempted to change my order after your pics but my Z4MC was midnight blue which looks very similar so it will be nice to have something a bit different. Being an Everton fan, I could only have a shade of blue!

Blue worked best for me this time. I've had black cars for the last 3 cars so fancied a change. Originally I went for the Estoril blue but when the Tanzanite blue appeared I changed my order.
A change is always good. New car, new colour

Never! As long as you're still ballin' who needs to grow up
Besides, if I grew up I may make more practical and informed decisions and who wants to do things like that???

Congratulations on a very nice car - Love the specs, beautiful interior.
Those pictures though... The color looks like a funeral version of Imperial blue. Damn, I'm beginning to regret not choosing glacier silver met. Please get back with new pictures with a decent camera and a surrounding not reminding of Krakow, cause this is really starting to worry me.

I pick up the car on Saturday when I will be able to take photos at my leisure. I'll try to improve the settings on the camera to try and account for the weather. By then they should have pushed a sponge over it too which may help bring out the paint properly

Really looking forward to seeing the pictures. Tanzanite blue and cashmere beige interior is what I usually go for when I'm playing fantasy configurator

Can I make a cheeky request.
If you ever get the chance to take a photo of it next to an Imperial Blue one I would be interested to see the comparison. Thanks.

From my initial perception I would say that the IB was a flatter metallic whereas the TB had a depth to it. Admittedly this was just from a quick look at an IB car but if I get the chance tomorrow I'll take the photo and then we can all judge.

They are mostly from when I first had the car, when it was at its cleanest the winter weather has not been entirely kind so there have been very few chances to get out there and clean it since then. If there are any other photos you want, just let me know and assuming there is a break in the weather long enough for me to get out there, I'll post them asap

Nice looking interior.
What I would like to know is, does the seat still have all the functionality with the individual leather fitted as is does with the standard leather? As in does it still have the pop out thigh support. Is the individual leather really soft as opposed to stiff and hard ? (sorry about the double entendrer). Does the seat base hold together better (reduced sag) as it has an additional strip of leather running along it? Sorry to ask what might seem like silly questions but it is a £1215 option and there isn't much info available. |

The leather does feel nice and smooth, I don't have anything to compare against though as this is the first car I've had with leather seats. For me though, they do feel beautiful and not too stiff and hard (ooh err). As for the durability I'm also not really going to be much use. I've had the car for just a fraction over 4 months now and the seats are still as they were when I had the car at new. That may well be due to my naturally athletic figure as much as build quality though There is no such thing as a silly question. I would no doubt be asking the same questions myself if I was buying now. The £1215 in my opinion was worth it. I think the seats are beautiful and the leather gorgeous, more than that though with the darker exterior the interior matches nicely with the beige seats and trims but the darker surrounds. I never get tired of my car and even now I find excuses to just go and sit in the car. It's not just looking for a bit of peace and quiet either!

Love Tanzanite Blue.... so much in fact that I had my 'project' car resprayed that colour
From a distance it looks almost black... up close, you get the blue metallic effect... Mine has a pale grey interior, but that Cashmere goes really well

I love your interior so much so I might have it in my F31 which I hope to order soon. But I am going to be very different with my colour choice. I through my dealer have been in contact with the factory and they are able to supply my car in Valencia Orange
