My experience is the opposite.
Came from xenon and now have adaptive LED's

I can attest to this. I've got LCI LED Non-Adaptive headlights compounded to be even worse because I've got Track Handling Package which removes the LED fog lights. Driving at night on back roads has been a "fun" experience.

With xenon’s they are usually adaptive, plus if one goes out, you jsut buy a new bulb… not a new headlight. Personally I’m pleased with them but at 7 years and 80k it is getting near time to restore brightness with new bulbs.

Maybe you can, but I know for taillights it’s a new tail light and for fogs it’s the same amd I’ve always assumed similar for headlights.
