Question Disabling trunk comfort access

This feature has always bugged me. It opens at weird points when walking round or near to the back of the car when you don't want it to and doesn't always open when you're waving your foot under the bumper when you do. It has just really pissed me off more than it's been useful.

I have a load of carbon fiber on the back of the car - rear diffuser, exhaust tips, rear bumper wings and a high kick spoiler. I almost feel like something is amplifying or deflecting the signal.

I've had it open in traffic once which was fun.

Anyway, how to disable the proximity sensor whilst keeping the remote function. Is there a plug to remove or a setting in idrive?

I have a 2018 f36 (440i Gran Coupe)

Thanks I'll figure out how to do this. I only have bimmercode, xhp and mhd. What coding app is the easiest to use?

The best app for that is to use esys.
You can check in bimmercode expert mode.
