House window cleaning
Here is a topic for a very wet Saturday afternoon.
I've just cleaned the inside of our windows - with a large conservatory, it takes a while! I use the traditional Mr Muscle spray. Was wondering if something like the Karcher Window cleaner vac would be any better? Anybody as sad as me and have any experience of both? Many thanks |

ECloth window cloths, do it often enough and no chemicals are needed. Quick and easy.

Window vac is good at taking water off, but you've still got to clean the window first. Other than soap and water I'm not sure what you'd use with the window vac? The thing that comes with it is pretty useless.
I used NilGlass on the insides, soap and water outside then window vac. Have to say it's one of the best things we've got for cleaning. Use it on the shower, car windows and more. |

I could save 20 quid a week on lunch if i made my own sandwiches, 30 quid a month if i did delay repay on my crap train journeys, but in truth i prefer the easy life and sod the money. I have enough of that and you cant take it with you....

I get miffed on this topic. I sent out window cleaner packing as he used the whole 'reach and bollocks' system which essentially meant he lobbed some water at the windows and they always had streaks.
I've since tried to find an actual window cleaner. Like they're supposed to be. But it seems they all use this modern approach which I'm sure is more about laziness than the crap they talk about mineral water. I've actually always said when I tap out of London corporate nonsense I would try window cleaning as my first 'normal' job. |

As i have to clean the inside windows and shutters i dint bother paying for a window cleaner.
Outside windows are easy to clean... use a karcher window vac (think its wv6) use fairyliquid on a microfibre to clean the windows and sills, then vac it off... maybe 5-10mins per window once a month. |

Can't you use RainX or something on house windows so all you have to do is hose them off?
Signed, Looking for the lazy way.
