I bought an m sticker to put on the back. Then chastised myself for wasting the money since my key stays in my pocket or on the desk when I get home.

I also looked at leather covers but I never look at it or push the buttons so I didn’t bother.

I was at a bar recently with coworkers and this douche at the bar kept his fob on the counter while trying to hit on women. I laughed when I saw him do it and he asked why I laughed. I just said you have that ‘06 E90 out there? Hahahaha

+1, the inside of my pocket doesn't care what my fob looks like.

dont let the m3post guys find out. you'll end up in the fake badges and such post and they'll feel better about themselves to flame you for that sticker

I know. I've posted a pic or two in that thread. A Honda Element with an M sticker and a Chevrolet Impala with an M sticker.

Back to OP, what's your key look like now? beat up and scratched up? Or don't like the colors?

Key looks brand new, was just wondering if there's anything anyone did to change to look of their key, carbon fiber wrap or some sort of case or anything.

check ebay for samples. You might find something that catches your eye.

That's where I got the M stickers. But my key goes in my pocket when I leave the house and doesn't come out till I come back. I was in a Kia Rio base model rental this week and I so miss comfort access.

I wrapped mine because I was bored one day and had some scrap pieces of gloss black vinyl laying around. I do like the gloss black look, but it's a PITA around the corners, especially if you want to maintain the seam around the edge and the battery cover. It's got some wrinkles in that area, but I really don't notice because as you guys have said, my key basically lives in my pocket.

There are also CF cases available, but to me, anything that adds superfluous bulk to something that lives in my pocket isn't really worth it. Which is also why my BMW leather case thing is on my secondary key rather than the one I use daily. I think I've seen some aftermarket, Chinese-made replacement housings on sites like wish or aliexpress, but again, I don't really care enough.
