I did not realise it was the ECU update you were talking about which makes sense to take hours since ECU require advanced securities.(Before someone replied to me, no one mentioned the word ECU in this thread) But the infotainment system update should be able to do at any location and take little time, which it, according to information given by another member of forum, indeed is.
