Fog LEDs with cornering option ok?
I'm going to switch my stock halogens to LEDs but I'm worried that the auto-on cornering feature will keep turning them on/off and cause premature failure, in addition on a flashing effect every time they go on...
What's your experience with this? And what's the most recommended brand/type you've been using? I have a 2014 F32 Thanks! Maz |

Download (and buy) an app called BimmerCode and get yourself an OBD 2 Bluetooth connector for super cheap. You can code in LED fogs to prevent flickering or shut off cornering fog lights entirely, which is what I do. I've heard horror stories about LEDs causing damage when not coded in, so I stick to white halogens and shut off fog light cornering. A nice Bluetooth connector is Veepeak brand

I couldn’t get cornering to work after I coded for LEDs, they also were crap 5k leds that didn’t seem to put out a lot of lumens, so I switched back and put the coding back to normal, Then bought Phillips 4300 halogens. The stock HID are close to 4500-4700 IMO but I liked the 4300 as a better Match than 5k.
