Wheel offset question.

I have a set of 17x8 Style 81 wheels I would like to use for winter on my F32 428xi. I know I'd need a hubcentric ring for the hub, but would the ET20 be a problem on the car?

UPDATE:

I just tried one on the front. It fits with plenty of room. However the low offset means it pokes a little at the front. I wonder if it's because I have a 235 on the wheel instead of the proper spec 225.

Could be a bit of both - you don't say what the offset is. There is a wheel/tire section of the forum:

Oops sorry, thought I did. Offset is ET20. I also checked in the w/t section. Thanks!
