N20 Muffler Delete Drone Solution?

Hi there everybody! this may seem like a redundant topic about, but I haven't been able to come to a solution. I opted to purchase an f30 328i with the intentions of turning it into fun car, seeing as I don't see the 400+ HP potential of the 335i and M3 as necessary for my needs.
I have taken the muffler off the car since the date of purchase, got it on BM3 Stage 1 93, with the intentions of purchasing a catless downpipe, however, I quickly found that at highway cruising speeds it drones pretty horribly, as well as when first taking off and switching between the lower gears in a relatively low RPM.
I have since then considered tossing the muffler back on, however, I do like the vehicle being responsive and audible. Could you guys think of any good ideas as to what I could do to make the vehicle louder without any droning?

If I did keep the muffler on, but got rid of the resonator and purchased the catless downpipes, would the car drone at all?

Thank you so much!

I had an exhaust shop replace my muffler with a vibrant ultra quiet resonator, and it sounds great with absolutely zero drone.

Would you be able to supply any clips?

So you are running stock downpipe, stock midpipe with the stock resonator and a muffler delete with a Vibrant res in place of the muffler?

thanks

JUST DELETE ALL THE THINGS SWAG BRO

Seriously though, why would you delete the muffler if you didn't want drone lol. Just install a single catless down pipe (you dont have multiple down pipes....) and then either put the stock muffler back on, go with a quality name brand axleback or catback, or install a magnaflow/vibrant where your muffler was....

Garage List
I also had a muffler delete and it droned like crazy. So what I did is weld on the stock exhaust flap onto the end of the exhaust. Then I can control it through JB4 Flap Module. When the flap is closed, there is nearly no drone. When it opens, car makes all the noises in the world! I'll try to post a video later.

That sounds good on a racetrack. On normal city streets driving around that's pretty aggressive for a non-exotic car. Just my humble opinion anyway.

The funny part about all of this is that a muffler delete almost always makes a car exceed the maximum noise limit for tracks. Many have a strict noise limit and only have a handful on unmuffled days allocated a year, mostly saved for competitive series. It sounds good on a racetrack, until you get black flagged.

The only solution is to put back the muffler or some kind/ aftermarket muffler so you don't get drone
