Am I missing something or is BMW offering a more limited interior leather color choice. If I do not want one of the 3 "Lines" it seems that you can only order black or beighe Dakoda leather- seems very stupid. I hope I'm wrong.

You can get a base, and choose your leather interior, but you wont get sports seats...

This is so obvious I don't know how BMW couldn't see it. And these are the same people making marketing judgements regarding 1er hatchback, 3/5er station wagon cars... We also saw how these "savvy" marketing people failed with 5 series GT.
The 335d is more expensive than 335i, while not having a big advantage over mileage. You have to drive 10s of 1000s of miles to break even the price difference... so what's the point? WE WANT 123/125 DIESEL HATCHBACK! Quote:

I wonder, for the US, will the sport seats in the M Sport Package be different then the sport seats that are included in the Sport Line? I don't mean different stitching colors.. I mean will the seats be actually different shaped seats.. like how the sports seats in E90 M Sport Package are different then E90's without the M Sport Package?

It's great that there are still a few wagon and hatch options in the US, and that we might get the F31 (the only F3x I'd be interested in). But the simple lack of interest by US consumers is why the don't go to the trouble of certifying more wagons here. Further, diesel is closer to the price of petrol in the ROW making the more expensive cost of a d model easily justifiable for those in the ROW and specifically in Germany, where the added torque is more suited for Autobahn driving. I'd love an F31 with all three pedals, a 2.0l diesel, no stinking sun roof and cloth seats, but I know there's absolutely no chance that I will get one without moving out of this country where the consumers would rather have a 4,200 pound SUV with a V8 and a transmission that does all the work for them. |

I don't agree with "Americans don't like hatchbacks" by the way. I think there are enough Europeans in this country that would be interested in hot hatches. I think US is such a country that would benefit a lot from diesel. This is because we have a lot of urban areas, where people drive 20-30-40miles one-way to work. A diesel (not a 3liter I6 like BMW or 6liter V12 like Audi) can be very advantageous. It will even address enthusiasts since it will be more sporty (think 123d M sport) and still get good mileage.. Who needs Prius now?

AFAIK, this should work from Bluetooth using A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). I doubt there will be plug-in adapters for Android since there is no standard HW design and so I think you only get album art, etc. with the cable and iOS.

The first post says the Cd is 0.26, but the spec tables in the press materials indicate this is only for the 320d Efficient Dynamics edition.
0.26 - 320d Efficient Dynamics 0.27 - 320d 0.29 - 328i 0.30 - 335i |

Funny that S-Line Audis with Quattro are lower by like inch and half. My buddy is rolling in A6 quattro S-Line on 20in rims (factory!) and its LOW. Stock. Don't see why BMW has to think it's cars MUST be this AWD equivalent of SUV. It's obvious people that want xdrive in 3er just want sure footedness (sp?) in winter, but not gonna go offroading.

Is the M-Sport SUSPENSION any Lower than the Regular Sport Suspension?
Is the M-Sport Suspension option any lower than the sport suspension that comes standard on the sport model?

After the 381ps ///M550d (confirmed), there is some recent rumor of an ///M135i with 320ps...see http://f20.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=614224
It would be nice if BMW developed a whole range of models that would be labeled "///M...i/d" and would slot between regular models and ///M models, just like Audi has its S below the RS. Because right now BMW doesn't have any legit alternative to the Audi S marketing-wise...it seems obvious that the "is" badge (335is, Z4 is) which lacks charisma and credit will disappear and be replaced by the "M...i/d" badge which is more appealing and catchy to consumers. Following this logic, an ///M340i / ///M440i / ///M440i GranCoupé with 340ps to battle the Audi S4/S5/S5 Sportback seems almost an evidence to me. I hope others will follow to extend the range : - ///M650d / ///M650d GranCoupé (for sure) - X5/X6 ///M50d - ///M550i or ///M555i 420ps - ///M755i 500ps...
