Yes, I've had my F30 since 23rd May. I love being one of the first with one. It's great getting sideways glances from pre F30 owners doing a double take on my baby. Having said that, I've seen about 3 or 4 on the road in Melbourne since I had mine. My first sighting of any F30 was a red 320d in early May in Surrey Hills.

The only F30 i've seen on the road was the one I took for a drive in March. It was coming back from a test drive. Otherwise, nothing yet and I'm on the lookout.

I remember seeing the first E90 in Melbourne back in 2005 (other than demo car). It was on Glenhuntly (named that way back then) Road, Elwood. I was young, easily excited back then so I did get very excited to see one, while I was driving my E46.

I still get easily excited

I saw a Mineral Grey sport line 328i last night and had to stop and admire it as it drove past. MG was my original colour choice however I'm absolutely sold on the MW now.

There's two F30's in the carpark under my office tower now, both the light silver colour. One is a 320d (I think it might be a base line?) and a 328i Luxury line. Made me glad I debadged the line badges, not a fan

Guys, what do you think of this?

Looking at all the various combinations, I'm disappointed by the interior / exterior colour choices on m-sport. So, if you take a luxury line (say imperial blue / saddle brown) and add m adaptive suspension (10mm lower) and sport variable steering, and, sport seats, maybe even m performance brakes; the question is, other than the body kit differences, seems to me this could be best of all worlds. Thoughts?

The only call to make.

I don't think that the M-Sport is badged. I can't see it in the photos of mockup pre production cars at least.

If you're going to be driving it for a few years, just get what you want!

The M-sport pack is really a cosmetic choice only, not performance.

I thought debadging only got rid of the model type ie: 328, 335... Can u specify to have a line and to debadge the line?? If you do this do you keep the model number?

I mean it's too late for me, my baby is built, and I don't wanna remove the 335 badge, but I'd happily have got rid of the luxury line badge if I knew I had the choice..

If you haven't found out already, I'm sure that your dealer might be able to assist. Otherwise there are DIY threads (E90) forum on how to remove badging. I'm sure same process would apply to removing line badges.
Cheers

Were you in your e92?

Yeah, I was going down Mains rd, and I was on my way to westside BMW to pick up the f30. You would have seen my stock 17" wheels as well

So no more e92. I've got to say though I'm totally in love with this f30 335i. Can't keep it out of sport + mode at the moment!

Partially - it turns DSC off, but DTC remains on. Allows a little bit of wheel spin before the nannies kick in.

It will be worth the wait Spikey. If you need a dose of f30 goodness in the meantime you can come check out mine. Presumably you are sitting outside my house right now
