Not sure if i am honest....? Released in 2017 so assume older one....

Either way, pushes out circa 360bhp, so more than quick enough....

This has the B58 engine, all of the x40i models (i.e. 140i, 240i, 340i, ....etc) have the b58 engines

Obviously it has the B58 engine...

The latest version found in the M340i / Toyota Supra has 380+ BHP and runs a 350 bar 5000psi fuel system compared to the older Gen1 B58 engines that run at a lower 200 bar.

As for all x40i have B58 engines, a neighbour has a 2018 640i GC which he thought had the B58, turns out it has the old N55 under the bonnet...

The 640i is quite an old shape hence why it will use the N55 engine I would thought???

You're right. I guess this only applies up till the 5 series
