Hybrid Turbo-TU HPFP- Potential with 95-96 oct and 2-2.5gallons E

Basic question is i'm looking at going hybrid turbo with my TU pump instead of upgrading to the DS2. I'm looking to run 93oct with boostane and 2 gallons of E which effectively raises my octane to 96+ and also get me some ethanol benefits. The question is, will the TU pump handle this at moderate boost let's say 23-25 psi and timing 14deg or so (not sure who i would use to tune yet).
I'm currently running the 95oct stg2+ mhd map with this mix and it's great.
Why don't i want to upgrade to the DS2, not really sure other then i'm not looking to run a high E mix so wondering if the TU can handle a low mix.

The DAW will max the TU out on 93. Tuning around E20/E30 will be more tricky. Better to just get the DS2 and go E30-45ish.

Thanks for the response/feedback. Do you think the added octane from the Boostane gives me more headroom then just running 93?

I don't think octane booster is the way to go as you can read many posts about them turning spark plugs orange. That being said splashing in ethanol works well and you can push plenty of HP with E20 - E30 on the TU pump. E30 is probably pushing it at higher boost but your tuner can tell you what the limits are. I think 22-24 psi with 14deg is more than manageable considering im pushing 30psi on e50 with 17 deg.

Thank you for that feedback.
My MHD 95oct stg2+ map is getting me to 20-21 psi with anywhere from 14-17.5 degrees timing depending on conditions and this is with boostane and 2-3 gallons of E. The problem with E for me in NJ is there's only 2-3 places to get it and where i live, neither is convenient so it's a trip, storing 5 gallon containers for as long as i'm comfortable so the less i use the less trips. Some people in my area have been using boostane for a few years that i'm aware of, i've been using it for about 6 months, yes they turn the plugs orange but other then that, i see no performance degradation from it's use. So i guess i'm trying to create a fuel workaround to make E use more convenient for me... but i def understand your point.

Thanks/ what's your thought on performance from that output? Is it a 10 second car with those numbers (i'm more in qtr then the 100-200 or 60-130 numbers)?

I was on DAW v2.5+ and TU pump on E30 my best was 22psi and 14 degree timing I wanted to keep it conservative. Now DS2 and we're flying on 27psi

So interesting, E is great when you have access, wish i had better access. E is like a drug and i've used it sparingly for 12 years on various platforms, again, wish it was more convenient for me. i will dabble with Boostane and mixing E and see where i land...

E is definitely a drug it wakes up the car even more from pump gas. We get great and accessible E in California but we have poor 91 octane from what I read compared to having a much better base of 93 octane. Would be nice to have both of best worlds though

It would be best to get the Ultra Flow or P800 as you will make more power on lesser PSI than a DAW v2.5+ or GC. I lean towards DAW as it spools like stock and rips like a rocket

I think i agree on the turbo choice and yes E is addictive. i wish i could just pull up to the pump and add it, storing it and doing the trips i have to do is a drag...

I’ve ordered the daw ultraflow to be paired with my tu pump
Car is a daily driver
Is 550whp unrealistic with this setup on 93

I'm feeling based on the feedback on these forums that 525 ish give or take is the 93oct whp number (which isn't bad)
Since i'm still figuring out which turbo to do i would luv for someone to try the boostane even without the E to see what can be achieved. It doesn't seem like anyone is interested in that though... boostane works...
