Since RSR doesn’t make a camber plate for my coilovers, I got a local machine shop to make me a pairs but they don’t last too long as I keep getting this annoying rattle recently from the camber plate. As a result I order a set of kw camber plates to custom fit on the coilovers. Surprisingly only minor modifications were made to have them fit on the coilovers. Finally I got myself some proper made camber plates yay....

Got some major upgrades today. Threw on a Recaro Sportster CS seat on the car, added the Rg sport pedal shifter, VEI boost gauge. Also stiffen up the chassic with Cusco strict bar and the CPM front brace bar. Adding these two bars give me a more responsive turn in and reduced of under steering, I’m surprised how these two little bars transform the car into.

Is that a lot of camber?? I've been leaning towards running 18x9J square with the largest tires I can fit without too much camber or tuck. Looks like 255 is the widest I've seen done.

It is only for the Chinese market, AKA made in China product not made in Japan. I had it sold as I am putting the M3 struct bar on

it's not too crazy but acceptable. I am thinking of running 245 at front and readjust the camber a bit

Car looks awesome. Does the car under-steer on cornering with the wider tires?

I reckon it understeers less. You add understeer when you have larger wheels in the rear, not square, on xdrive. Staggering the tires only helps with traction on rwd vehicles.

The F80 M3 struct bar was stuck in my head ever since I saw someone on the forum retrofitted on their car so I spoke the local tuning shop owner who did my KW camber plate retrofit to get a possible solution in retrofitting the M3 struct bar on my car. Possibilities are everywhere. You just have to discover them, so we did it.

New camber plate fresh off from the CNC machine

Test fitting the struct bar on the camber plate with OEM BMW bolts. They look pretty good to me but not sure how it fits on the car.

It requires an additional bolt to secure the struct bar on the chassic so we make it work

bolting up one side and hopefully everything works fine

YAY ITS SUCCESFULLY INSTALLED

The car handles way better on sharp corner, understeering is def reduced. The whole chassic is much tighter and stiffer now. I did not the the carbon fiber part from the M3 struct bar due to its cost but I have the CPM front struct bar to get a better chassic reinforcement anyways. I would say the M3 struct bar gives at least 30% reinforcement to the chassic, I would suggest everyone to have it installed on their F3x.
